UTMC to hold active shooter training
The University of Toledo Medical Center will hold active shooter training for students and staff on Thursday.
Physicians, nurses, students, and police from UTMC, the former Medical College of Ohio hospital, will learn how to respond to an active shooter in a hospital setting, including de-escalation tools.
Training will run 8 a.m. to noon at the Jacobs Interprofessional Immersive Simulation Center.
