Man arrested in Lincoln over terror offences
The 46-year-old was held at a property on suspicion of being a member of a banned organisation and malicious communications.
The arrest earlier is linked to an investigation by the North West Counter Terrorism unit.
Det Ch Supt Dominic Scally, head of counter terror policing in the region, said the man remained in custody and was being questioned by officers.
“Today’s arrest forms part of a wider operation into the activities of a proscribed organisation,” he added.
