Health Dept. driver charged with DWI after crash in Manhattan
An off-duty driver for the city Health Department drunkenly crashed his car on the FDR Drive in Lower Manhattan Tuesday, police said.
Kenneth Earle, 64, got into a one-car wreck on the FDR by the Brooklyn Bridge at about 2:45 p.m., cops said.
No one was injured in the crash, cops said. A breath test measured his blood alcohol content at .125 %, well above the .08 % legal limit, police said.
He’s charged with driving while intoxicated.
